November 3, 2006 - Partnership Allows FBI National Academy Graduates to Continue Their Education by Obtaining Advanced Degrees
Grantham University, specializing in educating working adults, was selected by FBI National Academy Associates (FBINAA) as an educational partner, allowing graduates of the academy to continue their education by obtaining advanced degrees. Grantham University is one of seven accredited universities selected nationwide as a partner in this effort.
"Our partnership with the FBINAA is a continuation of our commitment and long-standing relationship with federal agencies and its employees," said Tom Macon, chairman of Grantham University. "We're very pleased to be able to offer our accessible online programs to the FBI National Academy graduates."
Graduates of the FBI National Academy can enroll at Grantham University to complete a bachelor's or master's degree following their graduation from the academy. Grantham University has formally agreed to accept up to 12 hours of FBI National Academy coursework as transfer credit into one of Grantham's six graduate degree programs. Prior college coursework and ACE credit approved certificate and professional training may also be eligible for transfer credit. Grantham University, along with the other selected schools, will offer online courses in a variety of areas including law enforcement, communication, behavioral science and leadership.
The FBINAA is a 14,000+ member, international organization of graduates from the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Va.
Grantham University offers online undergraduate and graduate degree programs in Criminal Justice, Business Administration, General Studies, Computer Science, and other technology-related degrees. Grantham's degree programs are flexible and self-paced, allowing students to complete their coursework at the times and places that fit their busy schedules.
