Employer Tuition Assistance

Many employers offer tuition assistance to their employees attending Grantham. Prospective students are encouraged to consult with their human resources department prior to registering for an enrollment period to learn how their employer calculates tuition assistance and when it is paid.  Grantham accommodates all types of tuition assistance plans.

Association and Corporate Partners

Grantham desires to make education convenient and affordable for its students.  With that in mind, many scholarships and tuition grant opportunities have been established for civilian and federal employees.  Grantham provides full four-year scholarships to the employees and members of many educational partners, corporations, and associations. The University also provides tuition discounts that reduce the tuition rate to $250.00 per credit hour, which includes the costs of required textbooks and software.  Contact a University representative for further information.

Vocational Rehabilitation

Vocational Rehabilitation is designed to help disabled individuals prepare for, or return to, productive activity. Training, personal counseling, and other services are provided to those who have physical or mental disabilities that hinder employment. Services to eligible individuals are provided by state agencies for vocational rehabilitation. Further information may be obtained by contacting the local office of the State Vocational Rehabilitative Services.

In-School Deferment on Federal Stafford Loans

The federal loan programs (Federal Family Education Loan Program or Direct Loans) require that students requesting an in-school deferment on their Federal Stafford student loans attend an “eligible institution” to qualify for an in-school deferment. Grantham University is currently not considered an eligible institution for Title IV (Federal Student Aid) purposes; therefore, your request for loan deferral of past federal student loans may be denied by your lender.  This decision is totally up to the individual lending institution.  It is important to note that the lender is not required to give a deferment to a student who attends an institution that is not yet Title IV eligible.
