12/29/05 - Grantham Education Corporation Announces New President

Grantham Education Corporation announced today that J. Patrick Campbell will serve as the corporation’s President and Chief Operating Officer. Campbell will manage the continuing growth of Grantham Education Corporation and its subsidiary, Grantham University.

Online College Moves to KC After Hurricane. Online college, Grantham University, based in Slidell, La., is relocating to Kansas City after last week’s hurricane. "Our campus is underwater. It’s crucial that we have to be up and running at all times," said Kristie Tran, information technology director for Grantham.

04/25/05 - Grantham University Announces The Mark Skousen School of Business.

54-year-old Grantham University today announced that it is renaming its School of Business "The Mark Skousen School of Business." "Dr. Mark Skousen is a distinguished scholar and is considered by many leading academics and business leaders to be one of the top free-market economists in the world," said Thomas M. Macon, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Grantham University.

Sgt. Matthew Bartley, 67th Signal Battalion, recently returned from a six-month deployment in Iraq and Kuwait. While Bartley is happy with his military career, he gradually realized that if he was going to achieve his professional and personal goals, he needed a college degree. "Grantham allows us to put the book down for a week, and only focus on what is important at the time. Afterwards, you can pick up your book and continue at your own pace again."
