Jay Strike Carlin, Psy.D., JD
Global Faculty Member, Dr. Jay Strike Carlin, PsyD, JD, holds Master’s degrees in Psychology and Business Administration, as well as being Board Certified as a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist and Board Certified as a Disability Analyst and Fellow. As both an attorney and psychologist, he has worked within the criminal justice system, mainly in the area of juvenile justice. This included representation of juveniles in both capacities utilizing Multi Systemic Therapy as his main focal tool. While working with the juveniles’ family units, the schools and community resources such as police, churches and employers, impressive gains a changing deviant youth behaviors were achievable.
Additionally, Dr. Carlin is an adjunct faculty member at the community college level, as well as an online faculty member at several major colleges. He teaches courses from the associate level to the doctoral and professional levels including law and psychology.
