Bruce Bayley, Ph.D.
Global Faculty Member, Bruce Bayley, PhD received his Doctor of Philosophy in Family and Human Development, with emphases in crime/delinquency and the criminal justice systems, from Utah State University. He also holds a Master of Science in Family Ecology, with emphases in juvenile justice and juvenile corrections, from the University of Utah. Professionally, he is a retired California correctional officer and a former Juvenile probation officer for the state of Utah. In addition, he was the founder/director of the Public Safety Research and Analysis Center, a non-profit organization providing mapping and crime analysis services to small- and medium-sized law enforcement agencies and schools operating in Utah. He has published and presented research addressing adolescent/law enforcement interactions, fear of crime, and school resource officer dynamics and training.
